The House We Pass at Night, 2026 by Laura El.
Under the glow of a full moon, a young witch and her spotted dog make their way along a quiet city street. Behind them, an elegant white house stands nestled between towering bare trees, with soft light glowing from a few of its windows. Ornate hedges and winding branches frame the grand entrance, while scattered autumn leaves drift through the cool night air. With her pointed hat, flowing scarf and pumpkin-shaped candy bucket, the little witch skips along the sidewalk, capturing the playful spirit of Halloween on a peaceful moonlit evening.
Print size and borders: You have the option to add a white border around your print, which is useful for framing as it helps prevent the frame or mat from covering the artwork's edges. A border increases the print size; for example, an 8" x 10" image with a 1/2" border has overall dimensions of 9" x 11".
Laura El’s art career began during the pandemic, when a successful fundraiser she organized for an animal shelter brought early attention to her work. She has since built a global audience of over 135,000 across social media. Her art has been sold in New York City galleries, auctioned at Sotheby’s and Christie’s, and featured in Forbes, Marie Claire, and Martha Stewart.
