Reading Room, 2026 by Laura El.
A quiet evening unfurls in a room overflowing with books, plants and a few watchful cats. Dressed in a sweeping blue dress, a woman lounges with a book in hand while the city glows beneath a crescent moon outside the grand arched window. Rich blues and greens are warmed by reds and golden details, giving the room a dreamy, after-dark atmosphere.
Print size and borders: You have the option to add a white border around your print, which is useful for framing as it helps prevent the frame or mat from covering the artwork's edges. A border increases the print size; for example, an 8" x 10" image with a 1/2" border has overall dimensions of 9" x 11".
Laura El’s art career began during the pandemic, when a successful fundraiser she organized for an animal shelter brought early attention to her work. She has since built a global audience of over 135,000 across social media. Her art has been sold in New York City galleries, auctioned at Sotheby’s and Christie’s, and featured in Forbes, Marie Claire, and Martha Stewart.
